Shaolin Temple India is an official delegate of the famous Shaolin Temple of China. It is the only martial arts school which has the authority to teach Shaolin Kung fu training in India from the Venerable Abbot Shi Yong Xin of the Shaolin Temple China.
The Venerable Abbott Shi Yong Xin of the Shaolin Temple China, has officially appointed Shifu Kanishka Sharma with the privilege and immense responsibility to spread the real Shaolin Culture and Shaolin Kung Fu in India.
Shaolin Temple India (STI) was founded by Shifu Kanishka in the year 2000 in Noida, to dedicatedly impart training to passionate students in Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu. This includes Shaolin Kung Fu Forms, Shaolin Kung Fu Weapons, Shaolin Chin Na and Shaolin Qi Gong. Since 2000, STI has grown four more official branches in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pangot. Four of these branches offer regular training classes and one offers residential camps to students, amateurs and martial arts enthusiasts.
Classes are taught by Shifu Kanishka Sharma, Agalon Jeetendar Singh, Da Jiaolian Mohammad Akbar and Assistant Instructor Neel.
We offer Shaolin Kung fu classes for kids and adults. We also offer Shifu Kanishka Combatives classes, which is a system designed by Shifu Kanishka by blending six systems, which include Shaolin Kung fu, Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Shifu Kanishka Combatives Wing chun,Jeet Kune do, Tai chi and Muay Thai.
Shaolin Temple India�s mission is to teach and spread authentic and traditional Shaolin Kung fu in India and around the globe. This includes teaching the traditional Shaolin concepts of Chan (Zen), Wu (Martial Arts) and Yi (Medicine) to India, from where it all started.
Shaolin Temple India is the only martial arts training centre which has been authorised by the Shaolin Temple China to spread Shaolin Kung fu in India.
