Pekiti Tirsia Kali (PTK) is an authentic Filipino close-quarter combat system against multiple opponents, based on use of blade. It is a system of complete strategies and tactics which uses all close quarters weaponry, at all ranges to provide protection from strikes and attacks, destruction of opponent�s weapons, and domination of any combat or self-defence situation.Shifu Kanishka is the first Indian to have brought Pekiti Tirsia Kali and Rapid Assault Tactics to India.
The Pekiti-Tirsia Kali (PTK) system was founded in 1897. It has been formulated and perfected by generations of the Tortal family of Negros and Panay islands. The family patriarch, Grand Tuhon Conrado B. Tortal, passed this system and its attributes to his only grandson and sole heir, Grand Tuhon Leopoldo Tortal Gaje, Jr.
It offers a unique combat program, which is why it�s used by the military operators, law enforcement and citizens across the world. Under the guidance of Tuhon Shifu Kanishka, PTK is being followed in various units of Special Forces and elite commando units of Indian armed forces.
